USB C Wii Mod Design

One of our Discord members asked about future USB C mods and whether the Wii was part of the plan, and I replied with a yes with other I have planned out.

The Wii requires 12V 3.7A as depicted from the OEM power brick. This is a perfect fit as USB C PD can easily fit the bill with the appropriate wall adapter. The 12V triggers used in the mods I design are rated for up to 5A.

After disassembling a Wii slated for eventual restoration, the below design was made! A test model will confirm the current fittings and areas that can be improved within the limited space.

With the test model printed, dry fitting soon followed to see what can be improved within the limited space allotted. The dry fitting went perfectly! The piece fits perfectly in the space with the notches, and showed a little room to improve the model before the final is made to go into production.
